About Omniboxed

We build extensions that
get out of your way.

No dashboards you'll never open. No settings menus three levels deep. No onboarding flows. Just tools that do one thing well — and then disappear into the background.

Each extension has a single, clear purpose.

Simple
Complexity is a bug. Simplicity is the feature.

Stupid
If it needs a manual, we've already failed.

KISS — Keep It Simple, Stupid — is an engineering principle that's been around since the 1960s, and it's more relevant today than ever. Most software fails not because it does too little, but because it tries to do too much. Feature creep, endless customization options, and bloated UI are the enemies of a great tool.

At Omniboxed, KISS is non-negotiable. Every extension we ship must pass a simple test: can a first-time user understand exactly what it does within five seconds, and use it effectively without reading a single line of documentation? If the answer is no, we go back to the drawing board. Not to add a tooltip — to rethink the whole thing.

This means we say no a lot. No to features that sound cool but add cognitive load. No to onboarding wizards. No to settings panels that nobody touches. What's left is a tool that respects your time and your intelligence.

Who we are

Omniboxed is just me — one developer who got tired of installing eight different extensions just to match the productivity of one well-designed tool. So I started building my own. At some point I figured others might want them too, and here we are.

No team. No funding rounds. No growth metrics. Just someone who likes things to work cleanly, prices them fairly, and keeps them lean. If something I ship makes your workflow a little smoother, I've done my job.
